 If latest news reports are to be believed, then IIM is planning to scrap Group Discussion (GD) and replace it with written ability test (WAT). It is also expected that IIM may be using older scores for admissions to IIMs.

Essay writing has garnered immense importance as far as IIM's admission criteria is concerned. However, one underlying concern for essay writing is time limit. When a student writes an essay to gain admission to a leading B-school, the key focus will be on managing time. What is CMAT
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is computer-based online entrance examination conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in India. CMAT is a national-level entrance examination that allows various institutions to choose suitable aspirations for various management courses and programs and facilitating the process of admission. The institutions that admit students based on their CMAT scores offer management programs that are approved by the AICTE.
